As funny as it sounds, there is a benefit to dogs wearing sunglasses, especially dogs with large protruding eyes. One of the main benefits are preventing irritation to your dogs eyes. But like us humans, it will also minimise the chances of developing eye damage. If you have a dog with 2 blue or light coloured eyes there is a high chance they will be light sensitive. You will notice they prefer being in shady areas or inside rather than in the direct sun light. Dog sunglasses would be a great idea for light sensitive dogs give them more comfort whilst outdoors.
